Deputy Regent Of Kapuas Hulu Values Restorative Justice Creates A Sense Of Justice

KAPUAS HULU - Deputy Regent of Kapuas Hulu Wahyudi Hidayat said restorative justice prioritizes creating a sense of justice in a crime in the community. Hulu Putussibau, South Kapuas Hulu, Tuesday, March 29. For that, he continued, the Kapuas Hulu Regency Government supports and appreciates the restorative justice program from the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia.

The concept of restorative justice is an approach that focuses more on the conditions for creating justice and balance for the perpetrators of crimes and the victims themselves.

He hopes that with this restorative justice, case handling is realized quickly, simply and at low cost, as well as the realization of legal certainty that prioritizes justice that is not only for suspects, victims and their families but also justice that touches the community.

Therefore, Wahyudi said that the Kapuas Hulu Regency Government strongly supports the existence of a restorative justice house, thereby creating a sense of justice for the community in a crime.

In addition, he also hopes that in the future the prosecutor's office and religious leaders as well as community leaders can work together in solving every problem that exists in the community.

"We must be an important part in the communication step with the prosecutor's initiative, if there are legal problems in the community, the priority can be solved," said Wahyudi, quoted by Antara.

During the inauguration of the house, the Head of the West Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office was virtually attended by the Chairman of the Kapuas Hulu DPRD as well as a number of other important officials in the Kapuas Hulu area.
