JAKARTA - A total of 30 rotting bodies were found on a boat that drifted about 70 km (38 nautical miles) off the coast of Senegal's capital, Dakar.
The Navy received information on the boat on Sunday, September 22 evening. Patrol boats were immediately deployed to the area, the military said.
"So far thirty bodies have been counted," the military said.
The military continued investigation will provide more precise information on the death toll and origin of the ship.
The condition of the rotting corpse makes the identification process difficult.
