JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded the impact of the tornado that hit Kelapa Island, Seribu Islands.

As of this morning, it was recorded that a tornado caused 61 houses damaged, 2 boats sunk, 4 people were slightly injured, and 4 fishermen are still missing and in the process of being searched. This tornado hit in the early hours of Monday, March 28.

"The temporary disaster emergency post has been opened at the Port of Kelapa Island Port Syahbandar Office, considering that it is close to the location of the incident," said the Head of the Emergency and Logistics Division of the DKI Jakarta BPBD, Sabdo Kurnianto in his statement, Tuesday, March 29.

DKI Jakarta BPBD has coordinated to handle the incident with various parties, such as the Adm Regency Government. Thousand Islands, Jakarta SAR Office, DKI Jakarta Social Service, DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Disgulkarmat), DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, District Health Center, Kelurahan personnel, Polsek, Koramil, and other relevant agencies.

Today BPBD DKI distributed logistical assistance to residents affected by the hurricane disaster.

"The assistance provided was in the form of 60 boxes of mineral water, 10 boxes of biscuits, 70 sheets of tarpaulin, 10 boxes of ready-to-eat food, 100 sheets of blankets, 65 packages of clothing, 65 packages of family kit, 20 packages of kids ware. , 150 pcs of cloth masks, and 2 boxes of hand sanitizers," said Sabdo.
