Bareskrim Files Red Notice, Hunts Viral Blast Trading Robot Suspects

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police continues to search for the suspect in the Viral Blast trading robot fraud, Putra Wibowo. Soon, a request for the issuance of a red notice will be submitted.

"The Viral Blast is again being issued with a red notice", said the Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police-Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan, to reporters, Friday, March 25.

The effort to issue a red notice is because based on information, Putra Wibowo is abroad. However, it is unclear which country the suspect was staying in.

"He's still being hunted, if I'm not mistaken he is abroad", said Whisnu.

To arrest Putra Wibowo, investigators had previously published a wanted list (DPO). But from that effort has not obtained significant information.

"Still looking for (its whereabouts, ed). Already DPO (wanted list)", said Whisnu.

In this case, the Criminal Investigation Department has named three suspects. They have the initials RPW, ZHP, and MU.

In addition, investigators have also begun to confiscate the assets of the suspects. Among them are two housing units in Surabaya and Green Lake, Tangerang. The houses belong to the suspects Minggus Umboh and Zainal Hudha Purnama. The two houses are estimated at IDR 15 billion.
