Stab Students To Death During Brawl In Karawaci, 2 Vocational Students Arrested By Police

JAKARTA - The police arrested two young men who were behind the death of a student with the initials MFS. They slashed the victim when he was involved in a brawl in the Karawaci area, South Tangerang.

"The first suspect has the initials SR, both MZA is both 15 years old", said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner E. Zulpan to reporters, Monday, March 21.

The brawl that ended in death started with an invitation by the suspect group to the victim's school for a brawl. The invitation was sent through social media.

The victim, who is the administrator of the school's social media, conveyed it to his colleague. In the end, it was agreed that the two school groups would meet on March 16.

"The victim received a message from the Aviation Vocational School with the message 'Can you do upgrading tomorrow or not?' Which one holds the account is MFS as the victim who died", said the Commissioner.

After an agreement was made on a place and time, the victim invited 10 of his friends. On the way, the victim met the suspect's school with a larger crowd.

"The victim got down and turned around because there were more Dirgantara Vocational Schools, from the video, the victim was stabbed in the back by a Dirgantara Vocational High School student with a sickle", said the Commissioner.

As a result, the victim suffered stab wounds on his body. This young man was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, his life could not be saved.

For that incident, SR (15) and MZA (15) have been named as suspects. They were charged with Article 80 Paragraph 3 Jo Article 76 c of the Indonesian Law on Child Protection with a maximum penalty of 15 years. Then, Article 170 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code carries a penalty of 12 years in prison.
