SEMARANG – An electric bicycle made by immigrant from the Central Java Association (PJT) has attracted the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo. In fact, Ganjar immediately appreciated the products made by the Klaten resident, R Agung Nugraha.

Governor Ganjar Pranowo admitted that he had tried the electric bicycle. Even the bike is fun to ride.

"I've tried it and it's delicious. I have to have the collection," said Ganjar enthusiastically in his statement, Monday, March 21.

Agung, as the maker, said that the bicycle is still being produced in a limited way in West Java.

“The Central Java Association brings its Ecobike (environmentally friendly bicycle) brand, E-Run. So while we are still producing it in West Java at our factory in Bogor. We will bring this product to Central Java so that it can be used by the people of Central Java," said Agung.

He said the governor had directed that the electric bicycles made by PT Eran Teknikatama could be used in hospitals, or otherwise. Because the bicycle uses electricity, it will save energy and help the government reduce pollution.

According to Agung, the electric bicycles will soon be distributed to Central Java so that people can use them. With prices depending on the model that is the taste of each consumer.

He explained that bicycle technology uses a 10-ampere 48-volt battery or 500 watts equivalent. With a range of about 40-50 kilometers on a single charge.

"So later there will be a start charging system, there will be a charge, or there will be a swab battery. So we can use a removable swab battery and install it in several battery swab stations," said Agung.

In addition, the bike is equipped with three speeds. That is, it can be pedaled at seven speeds in gear, and using a pedal that is pedaled slightly will use electricity, or use electricity completely.

“Pak Ganjar really appreciates our product, our product. Earlier, Pak Ganjar informed that this could be used in the hospital instead of taking the onthel. Maybe to work or sports. Mr. Ganjar appreciates this, saving fuel, as well as for a better environment," he said.

Not only that, but the governor also hopes that electric bicycles can be made by vocational students in Central Java. His party will help vocational students in Central Java to be able to assemble bicycles. So, in Central Java, there will be a base for making electric bicycles made by local residents.

“Mr. Ganjar will buy one (unit) as a sample. We really appreciate Mr. Ganjar. The hope is that with Pak Ganjar buying this, the product of the nation's children, the product of the wong of Central Java. So it can be enjoyed in Central Java," he added.
