JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah said the government had started distributing stage IV salary subsidies for 2.8 million workers after the Ministry of Manpower completed an examination of the completeness of data received from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BP Jamsostek).

"Alhamdulillah, the data completeness check process has been completed. Of the 2.8 million data on stage IV potential recipients, 2.65 million people whose data have been completed have been disbursed to KPPN. The rest, about 150 thousand we returned to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to complete the data. "We do this so that the wage / salary subsidy recipients are right on target," he said as quoted by Antara, Thursday, September 24.

After the process of checking the completeness of the data or check list, the Ministry of Manpower has submitted the account number for phase IV search to the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) which will disburse the funds to channeling banks that are members of the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara).

The total assistance of Rp. 2.4 million for workers with incomes below Rp. 5 million will then be transferred directly to the accounts of prospective recipients, both at state and private banks.

In addition to the distribution of stage IV which targets 2.8 million people, previously wage subsidy assistance (BSU) until September 22, 2020 has been distributed to 8,822,208 people or 98.02 percent of the prospective recipients of nine million workers in phase I, II, and phase disbursements. III. The government is targeting a total of 15.7 million people to receive this assistance.

"We hope that the distribution of stage IV will continue to run smoothly, such as stages I, II, and III so that the target for the distribution of the first stage payment of wage / salary subsidies can be achieved," said Ida.
