Densus 88 Detains Three Terrorists Supporting ISIS

JAKARTA - Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested three terrorist suspects in several areas. They are said to be affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

"That's right, arresting three terrorist suspects," said the Head of the Operational Assistance of the Special Detachment 88 Anti-terror Police Kombes Aswin Siregar when confirmed, Thursday, March 17.

The terrorist suspects have the initials RS, MR, and HP.

Hospital suspects were arrested on Jalan Pemuda, Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency, on Tuesday, March 15. He is said to have joined the Ansor Daulah.

"The Ansor Daulah group, the suspect supports ISIS," said Aswin.

Then, the suspect MR was arrested in the Palmerah area, West Jakarta on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. He is a supporter of the Daulah Islamiyah ISIS.

"One of the suspects involved is the possession of weapons suspected of being airsoft types AK47 and Makarov," said Aswin.

Lastly, suspect HP. He was arrested in the Ciputat area, South Tangerang, Banten. The results of the preliminary examination, he was known to be an ISIS supporter.

Currently, the terrorist suspects are still being investigated intensively. Examination to explore the involvement of other parties.
