Jusuf Kalla Urges Mosque Administrators To Fix The Loudspeaker System

JAMBI - Chairman of the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) Jusuf Kalla asked mosque administrators to improve the loudspeaker system in their respective places of worship, so that they are not disturbed by buzzing sounds during worship.

This was conveyed by Jusuf Kalla when he inaugurated the Jambi Province Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) at the Al-Falah Grand Mosque in Jambi, Wednesday, March 16.

JK, as Jusuf Kalla is familiarly called, also asked the Indonesian Mosque Council in Jambi Province to carry out their duties properly and one of their duties was to correct unstable loudspeakers, so that the sound from the mosque became buzzing.

According to the former vice president, the buzzing sound of the mosque will confuse worshippers. If the loudspeaker in the mosque is not good, it will be heard, but it is difficult to understand the meaning of what is conveyed.

"If you deliver da'wah, then the congregation will not understand what is being conveyed, if the sound is buzzing," he said, quoted by Antara.

He said there were 10 percent of mosques in Indonesia that had just been repaired. Thus, there are still many things that have not been repaired. Meanwhile, the Indonesian Mosque Council of Jambi Province will immediately follow up on what Jusuf Kalla has ordered.

"Indeed, the sound system in this mosque is not optimal in conveying religious symbols in the mosque," said the Secretary General of DMI Jambi Province, Rusli Adam.

He said that with a sound system that was not good enough, it would hinder the congregation from digesting when the preacher or sermon delivered could not be absorbed optimally.

"We will maximize this, so that all people can accept and properly digest what is conveyed during religious symbols," he said.
