Middle-aged Woman Found Covered In Blood In Benhil's Rented House, Police Say The Victim Has An Internal Disease

JAKARTA - A woman was found dead covered in blood in her house at Jalan Purification Dalam, Number 41, RE 010/007, Bendungan Hilir Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. When found, the victim's body was not far from the bedroom door.

According to information, the victim's initials NR (44) was with a man in the room, but the identity of the man is not known.

The head of the Tanah Abang Metro Police, AKBP Haris Kurniawan, said that from the results of the crime scene (TKP) at the scene, no signs of violence were found on the victim's body.

"While the results of field checks did not reveal any signs of violence," he said when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, March 16, afternoon.

The police chief explained, from the testimony of eyewitnesses who saw, before being found dead, the victim was still carrying out his usual activities.

"There were witnesses who saw the victim still had time to dry her clothes. She asked for help when she vomited blood," he said.

Still based on the police statement, the victim's family said that NR suffered from an internal disease.

"Information from his family that he has an internal disease, hypertension and other things. Meanwhile, we suspect that he is sick," he said.

Confirmed separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanah Abang Metro Police, AKP Fiernando Ardiansyah, confirmed that the victim was found dead due to illness.

"The victim just has a contract. Previously, her family had already come," said Kanit to VOI, Wednesday, March 16.

Kanit also confirmed that the cause of death was due to illness.

"When he was found at the TKP, he was alone. Information from local residents was like that. The victim has been checked by the identification team but there are no signs of abuse," he said.
