COVID-19 Update As Of March 13: New Cases 11,585, Healed 25,854

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. The cumulative total of cases stands at 5,890,459 since the first cases were announced on March 2. Meanwhile, new cases per day reached 11,585 people.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 25,854 people, bringing the total to 5,395,433 people recovered. Meanwhile, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 215 people and a total of 152,166 people.

Meanwhile, the province with the newest cases was in West Java with 2,382 new cases and a total of 1,072,672 cases. Consists of 2,375 local transmissions and 7 foreign travelers (PPLN).

Followed by DKI Jakarta with 1,874 new cases and a total of 1,218,000 cases. It consists of 1,572 local transmissions and 302 PPLN.

Then, Central Java had 1,114 new cases and a total of 610,065 cases. Consists of 1,114 local transmissions and 0 PPLN. Next is DI Yogyakarta with 781 new cases and a total of 213,079 cases recorded. Consists of local transmission 781 and 0 PPLN.

Then, Banten with 751 new cases and a total of 281,322 cases were recorded. Consists of local transmission 734 and 17 PPLN.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an increase of 4,068 cases. Then, followed by DKI Jakarta with 2,600 recovered cases. Then, Central Java with an additional 2,098 cases, East Java with 1,933 recovered cases, and North Sulawesi with 1,867 recovered cases.

Then, the weekly positivity rate for people from March 6 to 12, 2022 is 13.49 percent. While the daily positivity rate is 11.56 percent.

Currently, the number of people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has increased by 171,016 and the total has reached 193,400,494 people, and the second dose of vaccination has increased by 604,945, the cumulative total reaching 151,378,726 people. Then the third dose of vaccination was increased by 249,235 and the total reached 14,600,781. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination was 208,265,720 people.
