Good News From Central Sulawesi, COVID-19 Recovery Rate Rises To 88.68 Percent

JAKARTA - Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) COVID-19 Data and Information Center (Pusdatina) spokesman Adiman stated that the recovery rate of patients exposed to COVID-19 in the province rose to 88.68 percent.

Based on data from the Central Sulawesi Province COVID-19 Pusdatina, out of a total of 57.537 people who were positively infected with COVID-19, 51.026 of them were declared cured.

"Meanwhile, 1.656 COVID-19 patients are declared dead or 2.88 percent of the total patients exposed to COVID-19," he said in Palu City, quoted from Antara, Saturday, March 12.

In addition, the percentage of active COVID-19 cases in Central Sulawesi fell to 8.44 percent or 4.855 patients exposed to COVID-19 were still undergoing independent isolation, in hospitals or in centralized isolation areas.

A total of 4.855 active COVID-19 patients, Adiman said, were in a number of areas, including 828 people in Palu City, 531 people in Buol Regency, 520 people in Sigi, 465 people in Parigi Moutong, 446 people in Poso, as many as 434 people in North Morowali.

Then 377 people in Morowali and Tolitoli, 365 people in Tojo Una-Una, 313 people in Donggala, 116 people in Bangga Islands, 35 people in Banggai and 24 people in Banggai Laut.

Today, 336 COVID-19 patients have recovered, 275 have been confirmed to have COVID-19 and one person has died.

He explained as predicted by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) that the peak of COVID-19 transmission would be in March 2022, so residents are advised to strengthen their immune system and exercise frequently.
