High School Student In Denpasar Kicked Broken Hand While Watching Futsal, Police Arrested The Perpetrator

DENPASAR - Andy Hamid alias Andy (36) and Ruben Here (40) were arrested by the Denpasar Police, Bali, for assaulting a high school student with the initials RR (17). The victim suffered a broken left wrist.

"Denpasar Police have succeeded in uncovering a prominent case of criminal acts against children that occurred in the futsal studio. With two suspects. The victim suffered a broken left wrist," said Denpasar Police Chief AKBP Bambang Yugo Pamungkas, at the Denpasar Police Headquarters, Friday, March 11.

The incident occurred at My Futsal Stadium, Jalan Teuku Umar Barat, Denpasar, Bali, on the evening of Sunday, March 6th. This case went viral because CCTV footage was spread on social media.

"That this case had gone viral on social media, it was so viral and four hours after that we arrested the two suspects," he added.

At that time, the victim wanted to watch a futsal match but was not allowed by Andy. After the victim mentioned his father's name, the victim was allowed to enter the field by pulling his hand.

The victim did not accept until a verbal argument. There, the perpetrator named Ruben pushed the victim and immediately kicked him.

"So the victim's hand got caught in the net at the exit of the field and caused the victim's left hand to be broken. Furthermore, the reporter Atabuy Frit as the victim's uncle reported the incident to the authorities to be processed according to the applicable law," said AKBP Bambang.

According to him, the perpetrator is the security in the futsal match. The victim is still being treated at the hospital.

The perpetrator was charged with Article 76 C in conjunction with Article 80 paragraph 2 of the Child Protection Law and Article 170 paragraph 2 of the 2nd Criminal Code.
