JAKARTA - PT MRT Jakarta adjusts operational hours in line with the implementation of PPKM Level 2. This is a follow-up to the Decree of the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service Number 145 of 2022.
PT MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head Rendi Alhial explained that currently MRT Jakarta operates from 05.00 WIB to 21.30 WIB on Monday to Friday.
Meanwhile, MRT Jakarta on Saturday, Sunday and weekends operates from 06.00 WIB to 21.30 WIB.
"The departure time between trains (headway) is every 5 minutes during peak hours, namely at 07.00-09.00 WIB and 17.00-19.00 WIB. Then, the train headway is every 10 minutes outside of rush hour," Rendi said in his statement, Thursday, March 10.
Rendi said the Jakarta MRT has a capacity of 65 passengers per train. Thus, MRT passengers must keep their distance.
"PT MRT Jakarta will continue to enforce the social distancing rules on trains while still putting up distance signs," said Rendi.
In addition, MRT Jakarta users are also required to follow the applicable rules while inside the station and train areas, including the implementation of health protocols related to preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
These include wearing masks, maintaining distance, and always maintaining hand hygiene by washing with soap.
"Service users are also asked to scan the QR code through the PeduliLindung application before entering the station area and not to speak in one or two directions while on the train," he continued.
