What Did Surya Paloh And Airlangga Hartarto Discuss At The NasDem Headquarters That Required A Closed Meeting?

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, met Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, at NasDem Tower, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Thursday. Airlangga, wearing a yellow batik shirt, arrived at the NasDem Tower at around 12.20 WIB.

Airlangga came accompanied by a number of Golkar officials, including Secretary General Lodewijk F Paulus, Deputy General Chairperson Nurul Arifin, and Deputy General Chairperson Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita.

The Coordinating Minister for the Economy was welcomed by a number of NasDem administrators, Deputy Secretary General of Public Policy and Strategic Issues Hermawi Taslim, Deputy II for Student Affairs at the NasDem National Defense Academy (ABN) Damianus Bilo, Deputy Chair of the NasDem Party DPP Advisory Council Enggartiasto Lukita and Member of the NasDem High Council, Lestari Moerdijat.

Airlangga admitted that his visit to the NasDem Tower was only to stay in touch with Surya Paloh and the NasDem Party officials.

"Just get in touch," said Airlangga briefly to reporters, Thursday, March 10.

The meeting between Airlangga and Surya Paloh was held behind closed doors.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the Nasdem Party Ahmad Ali admitted that he did not know what the two general chairmen would discuss. However, he ensured that there would be no discussion about postponing the election.

"I don't know exactly. I happen to be in recess. I can't accompany you. However, the meeting is just a normal gathering," said Ahmad Ali to reporters.
