Indra Kenz's Assets Have Been Confiscated, The Temporary Total Reaches Hundreds Of Billions

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police has confiscated assets belonging to Indra Kenz in the alleged fraud case under the guise of Binomo trading. Of the assets confiscated, the nominal value is estimated at hundreds of billions.

"Maybe hundreds of billions (nominal assets confiscated, ed)," said the Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police, Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan, to reporters, Thursday, March 10.

The confiscated assets were divided into several groups. One of them, Indra Kenz's four accounts, which are said to have a nominal value of tens of billions.

"(Seize the account, red) It's already tens of billions, yes," said Whisnu.

Then, there are also other assets in the form of houses and luxury cars that have been confiscated. It is noted that two luxury cars such as Ferrari and Tesla have been used as evidence.

"Regarding what was confiscated, there was a car, a Ferrari, a Tesla car, several houses in Medan, one house in BSD, and several lands and buildings," he said.

However, for the exact nominal value of the confiscated assets, investigators are still waiting for the results of the audit. But Bareskrim estimates that the total is indeed in the hundreds of billions.

"We are still asking for an independent audit to check what the actual price is," said Whisnu.

For information, Indra Kesuma alias Indra Kenz has been named a suspect in the alleged Binomo fraud case. The determination of the suspect is based on sufficient evidence and the results of the case title.

With the determination of the suspect, Indra Kenz was also charged with Article 45 Paragraph 2 Juncto Article 27 Paragraph 2 of the ITE Law. Then Article 45 Paragraph 1 Juncto Article 28 Paragraph 1 UU ITE.

Then Article 3 Paragraph 3 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Money Laundering, Article 5 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Money Laundering. Furthermore, Article 10 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Money Laundering and Article 378 of the Criminal Code Juncto Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
