This Household Assistant Beats A 2-year-old Baby Using Diapers And Clothes Hangers, Then Kicks Him In The Back For A Trivial Problem

JAKARTA - Be careful with the household assistant (ART) who is taking care of your child. Don't believe 100 percent.

There is an ART who is now in prison for 9 months for molesting her employer's baby. The baby is only two years old. But has been abused like an adult.

The baby was hit with a diaper. Not satisfied, slaps, punches, and kicks landed on the back of the baby boy, causing bruises.

Don't get emotional. This incident did not happen in Indonesia, but in Singapore.

Quoted from Channel News Asia, Wednesday 9 March, May Than Oo (30 years) of Burmese nationality admitted her guilt on one count of molestation under the Children and Young People Act. She was jailed for nine months, the sentence demanded by prosecutors.

She was initially hired to take care of the house while taking care of three children.

At around 20:15 Singapore time, 15 June 2021, May Than Oose was folding clothes in the victim's bedroom. Just then she smelled the stench. She saw that the toddler had defecated in his diaper and spilled it on his hands and toys.

May Than Oo was angry and scolded the baby. Then he was slapped in the face several times until the baby fell. The boy was crying.

But May Than Oo is not silent. In fact, she continued to beat him several times. First with a new diaper then with a towel.

May Than Oo then told the boy to go to the bathroom. He stands up, but when he starts walking in the wrong direction, May Than Oo gets even angrier.

With the towel, May Than Oo smacked the baby in the face once. Then she hit the boy again with her right hand until he fell. That's when May Than Oo kicked him once with her right foot.

The woman then took the toddler to the bathroom, pushed him in, and then used a coat hanger to hit him on the back twice.

The child's parents were not at home at the time of the incident.

Court documents do not detail how the case came to be, but say the boy's parents took him to hospital on June 18, and police were notified of the child abuse case that day.

A medical report by the hospital noted two bruises measuring about 1 cm by 3 cm and 1 cm by 7 cm on the victim's back.

The defendant's mistreatment of the boy was partially captured by cameras at home.
