JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin was furious with reports that there were prosecutors and prosecutors working on projects. In fact, the Attorney General's Office has been warned to work professionally, not playing projects or cases.

Attorney General Burhanuddin stated that if there was still action by the kaksa or the Prosecutor's staff who played the project, the person would be dealt with firmly.

In addition, quoted from a written statement by the Head of the AGO, the Attorney General also asked for the participation of the entire community if they knew that there was an individual prosecutor or an employee of the Prosecutor's Office playing a project to report it to the Attorney General via the Whatsapp hotline [phone]. As for the identity of the reporter, the Attorney General will provide full guarantees and protection.

Previously, during a briefing on Monday 31 January to the Heads of the High Prosecutor's Office, the Heads of the District Attorney's Office and the Branch Heads of the District Attorney's Office and other ranks throughout Indonesia, Attorney General Burhanuddin said that he would act with an iron fist to punish his children in order to maintain the dignity of the Prosecutor's institution.

"Although it is with a heavy heart, I assure you that I will remove your position as the application of administrative sanctions, and furthermore, the application of criminal sanctions according to the severity of the error, in order to create a deterrent effect and a lesson for all of us," he stressed.
