TANGERANG - The Banten Provincial Government (Pemprov) is starting again today to hold limited face-to-face learning (PTM) for high school (SMA) levels.

The decision was stated in a circular letter (SE) of the Banten Education and Culture Office (Dindikbud) Number 421/0505-Dindikbud/2022. The SE was signed by the Head of the Banten Education and Culture Office, Tabrani.

Tabrani decided that PTM was held by high school/equivalent levels throughout Banten with a student capacity of 50 percent.

"PTM is limited to 50 percent of the classroom capacity," he wrote in the SE, quoted Tuesday, March 8.

Tabrani said that if a student was exposed to COVID-19 cases with any variant, high school/equivalent students were required to self-isolate until they were declared cured.

Tabrani handed over the technical implementation of PTM and distance learning (PJJ) to each school while still referring to the joint decree (SKB) of the 4 Ministers regarding PTM.

"(Essentially) schools are required to maintain health protocols and provide health facilities by referring to the provisions in the 4 Ministerial Decree," he said.

"Especially for Vocational Schools, they can carry out skill competency exams according to the specified schedule," he added.

For information in the SE, it is written, Heads of SMA/equivalents throughout Banten are required to periodically report on the implementation of PTM and PJJ to the Dindikbud through the Head of the Branch Office of the Dindikbud in their respective regions.
