BANDA ACEH - Five housing units in Bintah Village, Pasie Raya District, Aceh Jaya Regency were damaged by a large tree due to strong winds hitting the area.
The Head of Pasie Raya Hamdani said that five houses were damaged by the falling tree on Sunday, March 6 afternoon.
The five houses of the head of the family belonged to M Jafar Sidik (57), Junaidi (42), Saibur Rahman (39), Ismail (67), and Tomasjen (40).
Hamdani said that there were no fatalities in the high wind disaster.
He hoped that several people would remain careful, especially in the extreme weather that still occurs in the Aceh Jaya region.
"We hope that the public remains vigilant and careful, especially since the weather in our area is still extreme and trees often fall", he said as quoted by Antara, Monday, March 7.
