JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) appreciates the results of the Indopol survey, which says its institution is the most trusted by the public. This kind of thing is seen as a trigger for the anti-corruption commission to do better.

In the survey, it was stated that the KPK had the support of 23.83 percent of survey respondents, followed by the Police with 23.17 percent and the Supreme Court with 14.72 percent.

"We see this good achievement as a form of support and public trust in the KPK. This is certainly a trigger for us to continue to perform better", said KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector, Ali Fikri, to reporters, Tuesday, March 1.

Even so, Ali reminded that eradicating corruption is not only the work of the KPK. All parties must participate in supporting the corruption eradication program through education, prevention, and enforcement efforts.

In anti-corruption education efforts, he said, all parties must jointly instill the value of integrity to create an anti-corruption culture. Meanwhile, from prevention, improvement of systems and governance must be carried out.

Meanwhile, in prosecution, legal justice must be applied. Thus, the deterrent effect for the perpetrators as well as the confiscation of assets resulting from corruption to be returned to the state can work.
