JAKARTA - This is the atmosphere of meat traders at Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta, Monday (28/2) on strike. Traders started a strike to sell because of the high price of meat and until now the price of meat has not been stable. The butchers chose to go out of business because of the lack of buyers and caused the traders to experience a seventy percent decrease in turnover compared to before. However, currently there are still four traders who are still selling to deplete the stock of meat. Although there are no buyers, four traders are still selling. Significant price increases occurred in both local and imported beef. The increase reached fifteen to twenty percent. It is planned that this trade strike will last for one week or until Friday (4/3). Watch the full video below.
