JAKARTA - Head of Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy (Disnakertransgi) Andri Yansyah asked employees to report if their company violates the PSBB regulations that came into effect. The reporter's secret is guaranteed.

This report can be sent through an application made by the Jakarta Information and Information Communication and Statistics Office, namely JAKI. This app is available on mobile app download services such as Playstore.

Andri said, these employees do not need to worry if they are caught giving this information and are sanctioned by their office. This is because, said Andri, the identity of the reporter will be kept secret.

"To protect workers who report companies violating capacity restrictions for working in offices, our identities are kept secret," said Andri when contacted, Monday, September 14.

Andri said, if there are employees who report their office to be examined by the Manpower and Transmigration Office for violating the limitation rules, ask the company to thank the reporter.

"If there are reports like that, the company would even be grateful. That means, they have been reminded to keep breaking the chain of the spread of COVID-19. Don't even turn them on," said Andri.

According to Andri, since the implementation of the PSBB period for the first time in April until now, Andri has never received any news that an employee who reports the company has been sentenced or fired.

"There are no employees who have been laid off due to reporting. If they are laid off because of COVID-19, yes. But there are no employees who have reported them," said Andri.

For information, in the current implementation of the PSBB, there are 11 essential business sectors that can still operate in the office by implementing health protocols.

These eleven sectors are health, foodstuffs, energy, communication and information technology, financial systems, logistics, hospitality, construction, strategic industries, basic services, and daily necessities.

In the first PSBB last April, nonessential private offices not included in the 11 sectors were required to work from home entirely. However, in the second PSBB, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan allowed it to operate with a maximum employee limit of 25 percent.

"If some employees have to work in an office, the head of a nonessential private company is obliged to limit at most 25 percent of employees to be in the workplace at the same time," said Anies.
