PROBOLINGGO - The Probolinggo Resort Police is mediating the case of sealing the Cerdik Ceria PAUD and PKK Tunas Muda 1 Kindergarten buildings in Maron Kidul Village, Probolinggo Regency, East Java.

"Both parties agreed that the land still belongs to Munawi and Bawon's heirs, so the seal has been opened and students there can study as usual, after mediation," said Probolinggo Police Chief, AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi, quoted by Antara, Monday, February 21.

According to him, the sealing occurred because of a miscommunication between Munawi and the PAUD and TK management, so that the sealing of the building has been reopened by the land owner.

"The heirs (Bawon) are also willing to renovate the PAUD building next to the kindergarten and are ready to finance the renovation. The statement on the status of the land will also be updated to anticipate in the future," he said.

He explained that the Maron Police Chief had directed that something similar would not happen again, and the sealing had absolutely nothing to do with the village head election (pilkades) which was held a few days ago.

"We are present in the community in the context of caring for education to provide mediation. It is very unfortunate if the enthusiasm for learning for early childhood is eroded due to such incidents," he said.

Meanwhile, the Principal of the Tunas Muda I PKK Kindergarten, Supiyati Ningsih, admitted that she did not know for sure the reason why the building where the children were studying was sealed by the land owner.

"They were forced to study on the front porch of the sealed classroom. I don't know for sure what the problem was. I know that the school was closed from the parents," he said.

As a result of the sealing, as many as 83 students who went to school there were displaced because four classrooms and one teacher's office were sealed by the land owner.
