Drug Positive, Medina Zein Rehabilitated: The Reason For Bipolar Drugs

JAKARTA - The drug abuse case that ensnared Medina Zein led to rehabilitation. Based on the results of an assessment from the DKI Jakarta Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP), this relative of Ibra Azhari was declared a user.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said, from the results of previous urine tests, Medina Zein tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine. It's just that during the process of checking hair and further observations, it was discovered that Medina had been using narcotics not too long ago.

"For MZ, it cannot be detected, meaning that it has not been used for too long. The person concerned must be assessed so that it is decided for Medina Zein to carry out rehabilitation," said Yusri in Jakarta, Friday, January 3.

In addition, from the results of the examination, it was found that Medina Zein had consumed narcotics for healing reasons. This is because the woman is suffering from bipolar disease. However, whatever the reason, the use of narcotics is the wrong act.

"From the initial admission, the person concerned has level 2 bipolar disorder. But the name drugs, drugs are prohibited, is clear, yes, there is no cure by using them," said Yusri.

Medina Zein's rehabilitation will be undertaken for the next three months. The process will take place at the National Police Education Institute, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.

"Within 3 months it will be rehabilitated but it will be seen from the situation that it will increase or decrease (the rehabilitation period) depending on the team there," said Yusri.

Medina Zein was involved in a drug case from the development of the case of Ibra Azhari, who is a brother-in-law. He was arrested at a hospital in the South Jakarta area, Saturday, December 28.

During this arrest, Medina's cell phone was confiscated by the police. From this evidence, there are indications that a number of people have a connection to this drug case. In fact, among them are Indonesian celebrities.
