SURABAYA - The National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Surabaya City distributed 100 wheelchairs to people with disabilities from low-income groups (MBR).

The wheelchair assistance is the result of zakat, infaq, and alms collected by the Surabaya Baznas through the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Surabaya City Government and the people in Surabaya.
The mayor along with his wife and Baznas Surabaya administrators immediately took part in distributing wheelchairs to several recipients in Keputran Kejambon and Panjunan villages, Embong Kaliasin Village, Genteng District.
A number of wheelchair recipients include Moch Sidik (58), a resident of Keputran Kejambon 2/73 Surabaya. Then, Busiti (70), a resident of Keputran Kejambon Surabaya, Siti Fatimah (42), a resident of Keputran Kejambon and Asmilydia (79), a resident of the Keputran Panjunan.
