Good News, Campus Can Hold Limited PTM For Even Semesters

JAKARTA - Acting Director General of Diktiristek Kemendikbudristek Prof. Nizam said universities or campuses could conduct limited face-to-face learning (PTM) in the even semester of 2021/2022.

"In accordance with the PPKM level in each region, in accordance with the instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs," Nizam said in Jakarta, Friday, February 18, quoted from Antara.

He explained that vaccination coverage for academics and education staff is also one of the considerations in implementing limited PTM. Universities are also required to use the Peduli Protect application for screening purposes when entering the campus area.

In addition, LLDikti needs to strengthen its role in monitoring and reporting health protocol compliance in learning activities in universities.

Nizam added that the preparation of learning policies during the pandemic was carried out by prioritizing the health and safety of the academic community and education staff in the university environment.

"For the past two years, various adaptations have been made in the midst of the pandemic situation," he added.

In December 2021, there were several universities that had limited face-to-face learning. However, this has not been done by all campuses.

"We need to make the best efforts in the midst of this pandemic. We use the principle to prioritize health, but also try to minimize learning loss," he said.
