The Death HRV Driver Who Hit A Motorbike To Death In Sudirman Has Become A Suspect

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has named the driver of the HRV car with the initials BT as a suspect in the fatal accident that killed a motorcycle rider on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta. The determination of the suspect is based on the results of the case title.

"Today, the suspect, on behalf of BT, has raised his status as a suspect," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Thursday, February 17.

In addition, the accident investigator also suspected BT with Article 310 paragraph 4 of the Road Traffic and Transportation Law.

However, continued Sambodo, it is possible that there will be an increase in the articles that are suspected. It is suspected that the suspect was drunk while driving.

"If the urine results have come out, if for example, it showed signs of danger, we could have raised it to Article 311 LLAJ," said Sambodo.

On the other hand, Sambodo also said that the suspect BT is still being investigated intensively. Later, after completion, the suspect will be immediately arrested.

"Today we will check again and of course later we will arrest the suspect," said Sambodo.

The fatal accident occurred on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman to the north, precisely near Graha BNI, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, February 16, in the early hours of the morning.

At around 01.15 WIB, a Honda HRV car hit three motorcycle riders. One of the motorcyclists died at the scene due to stab wounds to the head.
