Deputy Governor Of DKI Jakarta Positive For COVID-19 For The Second Time

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, reported that he was positive for COVID-19 based on the results of the PCR test. Thus, Riza has been exposed to the Coronavirus twice.

Through the @arizapatria Instagram account, Riza admitted that he is in good health and is not experiencing any symptoms at this time. He is included in the category of asymptomatic people (OTG).

"My PCR test results are out, and I'm positive for COVID-19. New-Seegene PCR 34.76/36.38/34.2/36.55 cut off 40.00. I'm healthy, no cough, fever, dizziness, fever, shortness of breath or other respiratory problems", said Riza, Wednesday, February 17.

Riza said he was still working remotely from the isolation place. This Gerindra Party politician has also informed his parents about his condition.

"I thank you profusely for all the prayers. I beg you, please also pray for all the sick residents to return to health, Amen", he said.

Previously, Riza had been exposed to COVID-19 since last Friday, November 27, 2020. At that time, Riza also admitted that he was in good condition.

Based on the results of the contact tracing of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, he was confirmed positive for COVID-19 because he was infected by his personal staff who previously contracted it from the staff's family environment.

When Riza was exposed, DKI City Hall Building B was locked down for three days. The DKI Health Office also conducted contact tracing from several activities attended by DKI Deputy Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria, for two weeks before Riza was exposed.
