Joglo Dungus Madiun Field Hospital Reactivated

MADIUN - The Joglo Field Hospital (RSL) belonging to the East Java Provincial Government located in the Dungus General Hospital (Lung Hospital) in Madiun Regency has been reactivated along with the increase in active cases of COVID-19 in the former Madiun Residency area.

General Coordinator of RSL Joglo, Dungus, Muhidin said, a number of facilities and facilities were again prepared following the plan to reactivate the referral hospital.

"Starting with air conditioning, wooden buildings damaged by termites, bathrooms, and water lines are repaired and prepared," said Muhidin in Madiun, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, February 16.

According to him, RSL Joglo, Dungus had been deactivated when the COVID-19 case declined. As planned, the hospital will reopen in the near future. It is waiting for directions from the Governor of East Java.

According to data, Joglo Dungus RSL has a maximum capacity of 150 beds and is used to treat patients who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 with mild to moderate symptoms.

The hospital treatment room is also equipped with a hepafilter, five joglo units, three limasan houses, and a "High Care Unit (HCU) room which can accommodate seven beds.

In addition, there are supporting facilities such as a "command center", radiology room, laboratory, polyclinic, jogging track area, prayer room for men and women, as well as a place for relaxation. The joglo building is also separate from the building for general patients, and each unit has a hepafilter, thereby reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

The field hospital in Dungus is projected to be able to provide accelerated healing services for COVID-19 patients. Not only patients from Madiun Regency and City, but also Mataraman areas, such as Nganjuk, Ponorogo, Ngawi, Trenggalek, Magetan, and Pacitan.
