Positive Cases Of COVID-19 Increase 57,049 People

JAKARTA - The Task Force for Handling COVID-19 recorded that nationally, positive cases of COVID-19 increased by 57,049 people with the most additions in West Java (West Java) of 14,058 people on Tuesday, February 15.

Based on data from the Task Force for Handling COVID-19, the second-highest number of additional cases was in Jakarta with 9,482 people, followed by East Java (7,528), Banten (6,509), Central Java (3,514), and Bali (1,862).

The Task Force also reported an increase in 26,747 COVID-19 recovered cases, of which DKI Jakarta (9,103), followed by West Java (5,739), East Java (3,618), Banten (3,350), Bali (1,785), and Central Java (1,207).

Nationally, the number of deaths from COVID-19 increased by 134 people, of which the most additions were in DKI Jakarta (50), followed by Central Java (21), East Java (15), and Bali (14).

With the addition of the national daily cases, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Indonesia to date has reached 4,901,328, while the total recovered cases were 4,349,848, and the total number of deaths from COVID-19 was recorded at 145,455.

The number of active COVID-19 cases increased by 30,168 to 406,025 people, while there were 35,594 suspected COVID-19 cases, and a total of 582,828 specimens have been examined today.

The Task Force appealed to the public to be disciplined in carrying out health protocols.

The health protocols include wearing masks, washing hands with soap under running water, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility.
