JAKARTA - The Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto, said he had examined four witnesses in the alleged murder of Vicky Firlana, a 32-year-old man who was found dead at TPU Chober, South Jakarta.

"So far, there are 3 or 4 witnesses who have been questioned," Budhi told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, February 10.

Based on the witness' examination, said Buhdi, the victim was staying at a friend's house.

"It so happened that the victim before the incident was staying at a friend's house, and we have carried out an investigation," he said.

When asked about the cause of the stabbing, Budhi did not provide further details.

"We are still conducting an investigation, because it is still early, we ask for your blessing, hopefully this can be revealed," he said.

Previously reported, Vicky Firlana (32) was found dead with stab wounds in the stomach. Vicky's body was found at the TPU Chober, Ulujami, South Jakarta.

Budhi has not been able to explain the cause of the stabbing. Therefore, his party has formed a team to investigate the case.

Other information stated that before Vicky was found dead beside the grave, the man had stayed one night at a friend's house, not far from TPU Chober.

Vicky's friend said that at that time the victim wanted to buy a motorbike through social media. Vicky, it is said that he wants COD (cash on delivery) and has brought around Rp. 2 million in cash.

However, when Vicky was found dead, his belongings, such as cellphones, motorbikes and money, were not found at the location. Allegedly, Vicky was robbed.
