Mass demonstrates Adam Deni in Bali/DOK Action Coordinator

DENPASAR - The masses on behalf of the Solidarity of the People of Bali Love Peace (SRBCD), held a peaceful demonstration to demonstrate Adam Deni. The masses asked the police to investigate the case of Adam Deni's middle finger pose to President Jokowi's photo.

During a peaceful protest at the Catur Muka Statue, Denpasar, Bali, the SRBCD crowd requested that the investigation of the Adam Deni middle finger case into Jokowi's photo be quickly investigated so as not to cause a commotion.

"This is so that it does not become a reference for other people to not behave the same way," said IGNA Action Coordinator Agus Norman Sasono, Thursday, February 10.

Norman said that in the photo Adam Deni raised his middle finger at the Red and White Flag and President Jokowi was an insult.

"In the photo, there is a red and white flag and there is the president and he has already raised his middle finger to everyone. In fact (his middle finger) is attached to the red and white flag," continued Sasono.

According to the masses, criticism of the government is permissible. But insults to state symbols including the president are prohibited.

"It's okay to criticize, but don't belittle let alone insult the photo of the president in full clothes as the legitimate head of state. Moreover, there are symbols of the state with the red and white flag in the photo," said Sasono.
