Head of the Simeulue Regency Communication, Information and Encryption Service, Ali Muhayatsah, said that the villages that had not been reached by the internet network were spread over six sub-districts.

"The Simeulue Regency Government continues to make efforts to distribute the internet network evenly in all areas in Simeulue. Including in the 13 villages," said Ali Muhayatsah in Simeulue, Monday, February 7.

Ali Muhayatsah said the dozens of villages that had not been reached by the internet network were Sanggiran Village, Sinar Bahagia Village, Lok Bikhao Village, and Lok Makmur Village in West Simeulue District.

Then, Bengkalak Island Village, Lataling Village, and Ana'o Village in South Teupah District. Nancala Village in Teupah Tengah District, and Leubang Hulu Village in West Teupah District.

Next, Lewak Village, Lok Dalam Village, Lubuk Baik Village, and Serafon Village in Alafan District. And Bulu Hadek Village in Teluk Dalam District.

Ali Muhayatsah said that currently an internet network is being built at several points on Simeulue Island. And it is hoped that all these villages will be covered by the internet this year.

"We are trying this year to reach all areas on Simeulue Island. The construction is supported by the Ministry of Communication and Information," said Ali Muhayatsah.
