BADUNG - Garuda Indonesia aircraft GA 811 flying from Narita, Japan, arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.

Director of Services and Commerce of PT Garuda Indonesia, Ade R. Susardi, said a total of 12 passengers on the Garuda Indonesia GA 811 aircraft. Among them are 6 Indonesian Citizens (WNI) and 6 Foreign Citizens (WNA) from Japan.

"So the six Japanese are agents from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. So the Japanese are selling about Indonesia there. From travel agents and representatives", said Susardi, Thursday, February 3.

Garuda airline for international flights is actually still serving international flights but only for cargo.

"We still regularly fly with cargo. At this time, we may also see that in Japan the quarantine is still one week, in Indonesia, it is still one week. But as of tomorrow, it will be five days. The process is like this, the convenience is like this", he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy for Marketing of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Nia Niscaya, said that the passengers who came were the ones who would later promote Bali in Japan.

"If they want to sell, they have to know the product, so this is where we collaborate with Garuda in Tokyo and also our marketing representative. So, they told me that Bali has been opened", she said.

"Yesterday there was no direct flight and this time Garuda will fly and they welcome it", said Nia.

Passengers from Japan who arrive in Bali will immediately carry out a bubble quarantine for five days and four nights with a predetermined hotel.

"(This is a passenger from Japan) there are six travel agents. Later, of course, we ask that these six people should post on social media, what kind of experience, and this is another form of publication to build awareness", she said.
