JAKARTA - This is how people line up to get cheap cooking oil at Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta, Thursday (3/2). Residents were seen queuing up with jerry cans to accommodate cheap cooking oil. This cooking oil is sold at a price of Rp. 10,500 per liter. The existence of cooking oil, both bulk and packaged, was rare in a number of traditional markets and retail networks. The Ministry of Trade, through a ministerial regulation, has decided that the highest retail price for premium packaged oil is Rp.14,000, while bulk oil is Rp.11,500. Watch the full video below.
