Many Residents In Tangerang Are Willing To Queue For Hours For A COVID-19 Test At The Hospital

TANGERANG - Dozens of cars lined up to perform a COVID-19 PCR test through the drive-tru system at the Gading Golf Boulevard Hospital, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency. Based on VOI's monitoring, dozens of cars could be seen lining up a dozen meters long. It even ate the shoulder of Jalan Gading Golf Boulevard, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency.

There were two officers consisting of security and data collection for COVID-19 tests. They came one by one the cars were waiting in line.

In its implementation, residents who want to be tested for COVID-19 drive thru. They were asked to do a scan then collect data and finally a COVID-19 swab test was carried out.

One of the residents, Yudi, admitted that he wanted to do a COVID-19 test because he had close contact with people who were exposed to the virus.

"After close contact with Covid," said Yudi when met on Jl. Gading Golf Boulevard, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency, Wednesday, February 2.

Even though he had to wait longer, Yudi said he was happy with this queue. According to him, residents in Tangerang Regency have begun to understand the dangers of COVID-19.

“It's good, quite happy, it means that people are enthusiastic, so they are more aware of their health, so if they are positive they take care of themselves. If it's not checked, it will spread," he said.

Meanwhile, another resident, Edwin, admitted that he had waited for 90 minutes due to the long line. However, he still wanted to wait because he wanted to know the condition of his body.
