TANGERANG - The management of the Boen Tek Bio Temple, Tangerang City requires people who want to worship for the Lunar New Year 2573 to comply with the health protocol (Prokes). This is done to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Secretary of the Boen Tek Bio Temple Management Agency, Ruby Santamoko, said the number of visitors was only allowed as much as 20 percent. This is done to prevent crowds.

"We usually have 20 percent, if we count about 20 to 30 people inside," said Ruby when met at the location, Monday, January 31.

Ruby also said that his party had prepared a number of regulations that must be obeyed by the people. According to him, this rule is better than the previous year.

"Because this year is already the second year of the Covid-19 pandemic, at the same time we carry out Chinese New Year worship, all of our preparations are more prepared," he said.

Ruby said that people who want to worship at the Boen Tek Bio Temple are advised to have been vaccinated against COVID-19 first. In addition, they are required to wear a mask and have a normal body temperature.

"What is certain is that you have to have two vaccines, your body temperature is in accordance with the health protocol (then) this worship is over 12 years old. For the elderly, just pray at home like the previous year's appeal," he said.

Ruby emphasized that the readiness of the temple management during the Chinese New Year 2573 was 100 percent. His party is also ready if something unexpected happens during the Chinese New Year on Tuesday, February 1 tomorrow.

In fact, security personnel at the Boen Tek Bio temple deliberately guarded for 24 hours.

"100 percent readiness. We just need to prepare preventive measures if there are changes in the field," said Ruby.

"Our (officers) take turns, this is until tomorrow, we are a full team. I usually use shifts, now I don't," he said.
