Viral Mothers Rampage In The Courtroom, KPK: The Matter Is Not Handled By Us

JAKARTA - A video showing women running amok in the South Jakarta District Court with the tagged KPK RI has gone viral on social media. In the narration written in the title of the upload, the mother was angry because there was evidence that was missing and this was detrimental to her party.

Responding to the viral video, the KPK opened its voice. Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said the video was not related to the case he was currently handling.

"We convey that we will confirm that the case in the trial is not a case handled by the KPK," Ali told reporters, Monday, January 31.

Ali said all trials related to corruption crimes handled by his institution were tried at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court. "Meanwhile, the trial at the South Jakarta District Court is only if there is a pretrial submission from the suspect," he said.

With this clarification, the KPK hopes that no one else will try to twist the issue.

"We really hope that the community will support and be fully involved in efforts to eradicate corruption," said Ali.

"The public can take part in the KPK's efforts to eradicate corruption, both through education, prevention and enforcement strategies. The KPK really realizes that one of the keys to successful eradication of corruption is the involvement of all elements of society," he added.
