One Employee Exposed To Delta Variant, Tangerang Regency Manpower Office Lockdown

TANGERANG - The Tangerang Regency Manpower Office was temporarily closed due to one employee who was confirmed positive for COVID-19.

Spokesman for COVID-19, Dr Hendra Tarmizi confirmed the news. Hendra said, during the closing of the office or building, all employees were directed to work from their respective homes to anticipate the spread of COVID-19.

"Yes (true), one COVID-19 employee. Yes (lockdown office) because we will do a disinfectant, so we are temporarily closed," Hendra said when contacted, Wednesday, January 26.

Hendra believes that the employee exposed to COVID-19 is a delta variant, not an Omicron. Because judging from the employee's tension is still above 20 degrees.

Then, he (the patient) also transfers to the location, only in close contract with his family and office.

"Currently Delta, because the tension is already above 20. (Employees), the location transfer, is only a close contract with his family and office," he said.

“(Then) steps were taken, we traced everything, then disinfected the Manpower Office, then traced the family. Thank God all negative," he continued.

Now the exposed employee has been treated at the COVID Fighting House at the Yasmin Hotel, Tangerang Regency. "Now the treatment is at the Yasmin Hotel," he said.
