JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Basuki Hadimuljono, has allocated Rp1.13 trillion for the renovation of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).

"Renovation of the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah or TMII with an allocation of IDR 1.13 trillion", said PUPR Minister, Basuki Hadimuljono, at a Working Meeting with House of Representatives Commission V in Jakarta, quoted by Antara on Tuesday, January 25.

According to the Minister of PUPR, the renovation activities included handling the TMII area road, structuring the main gate area, renovating the Joglo (Sasono Utomo, Sasono Langen Budoyo, Sasono Adiguno), and renovating the museum.

PUPR Minister Basuki said the TMII renovation activity was part of a special assignment given by President Joko Widodo to the PUPR Ministry to carry out infrastructure development with a total planned budget requirement of IDR 2.7 trillion.
