Hotel Officer In Kuta Found Dead Drowning In Swimming Pool

DENPASAR - Hotel officer Wayan Sukranada (27) was found drowned in the swimming pool of the Bali Rani Hotel, Jalan Kartika Plaza, Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali.

"To find out the exact cause of the victim's death, it is necessary to carry out further investigations and carry out an autopsy," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police Iptu I Ketut Sukadi, Monday, January 24.

At first the witness saw the victim walking by the pool with a cleaning tool.

Moments later, the witness did not see the victim in the swimming pool. When checked, the witness saw the victim was at the bottom of the swimming pool.

"At that time the witness immediately reported the incident to the reception staff," he added.

The victim was evacuated from the bottom of the swimming pool. Officers provide first aid. Because there was no reaction, the hotel staff called an ambulance at Siloam Hospital.

When examined by the medical team, the victim was already dead. From the location, the victim was taken to the funeral home.

"At 09.00 a.m. local time the victim was immediately evacuated using an ambulance to the funeral home," said Sukadi.

"From the results in the field, in this case, the parents stated that the victim had suffered from epilepsy since childhood and in December 2021, he had relapsed four times until now," he continued.
