75th Birthday, Social Minister Risma Opens Up About Megawati Soekarnoputri: A Detailed And Consistent Figure

JAKARTA - Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP), Megawati Soekarnoputri, has a birthday today on Sunday, January 23. The celebration was also held by planting mangrove trees in Bali.

Social Minister Tri Rismaharini or Risma said that this method was carried out as a step to fulfill Megawati's mandate to care for the earth.

"So that people can enjoy comfort because the condition of the earth is well-maintained", said Risma as quoted from her written statement on Sunday, January 23.

Furthermore, the PDIP DPP chairman personally admitted that he often learned a lot from Megawati. In fact, he always tries to discuss with the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

The former mayor of Surabaya even said that there were three things that Megawati could emulate. The first is a matter of consistency.

"Whatever the risk, if you have taken the decision, it will be held", she said.

Second, Megawati is a very detailed person. In fact, Risma remembers that when she was about to leave for East Indonesia, Megawati asked her to prepare the necessary items properly to avoid unwanted things.

"That lesson taught me, for me to always talk in detail every step of the way", said Risma.

"It can't be then after for example there is a policy or policy, why do I then monitor the distribution. If I monitor the social assistance, it can't be done without monitoring, is it really realized downwards, that's really what we have to control", she added.
