Claims Driven By Kiai Setanah Air's Forward Gus Dur, Cak Imin Is More Confident To Run For The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - The general chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Muhaimin Iskandar, is increasingly determined and confident to participate in the 2024 presidential election (Pilpres). This is because Cak Imin claims to have been directly encouraged by kiai to run for president.

"I was asked by reporters, 'Why are you confident in wanting to run for president?' themselves, but about orders," said Cak Imin in his statement, Friday, January 21.

The deputy chairman of the DPR also claimed that there had been a lot of encouragement from a number of parties who wanted him to run as president and continue the struggle of the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia Abdurrahman Wahid or Gus Dur.

“Yesterday afternoon, the consolidation of the group reaffirmed their determination and intention for the song's term 'Let's Rebut Back'. Let's reclaim the next presidential seat in 2024," he said.

Therefore, Cak Imin is increasingly confident to run as a presidential candidate in 2024. Moreover, he said, currently PKB is the Islamic party with the highest number of voters in Indonesia.

"How can you not be confident, today's PKB is the largest Islamic party in Indonesia with more than 13 million voters. Lack of confidence what?" he said.
