There Is News That BI Data Was Hacked By The Conti Ransomware Gang, The Police Immediately Intervened

JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters immediately followed up on information about the leak of Bank Indonesia (BI) data that was hacked by the Conti Ransomware Gang hacker group.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Pol Dedi Prasetyo, said that he had received this information and followed up by communicating with BI.

"The information needs to be communicated first with BI regarding this issue," said Dedi, when confirmed on Thursday, January 20, as reported by Antara.

BI data hacking information uploaded by the twitter account @darktracer_int is one of the website's intelligence platforms.

In its upload, the account wrote a warning that the Conti Ransomware gang announced that "Bank Indonesia" was included in the victim list.

“'[ALERT] Conti ransomware gang has announced “BANK OF INDONESIA” on the victim list',” the account tweeted.

The upload also shows screenshots from the Conti Ransomware gang site, in the form of the website address https://www.bi.go.id and the address Jalan MH Thamrin 2, Jakarta.

The screenshot also shows a number of files called corp.bi.go.id, in the statement it says a total of 838 data with a file of 487.09 MB.

The data was uploaded by the Conti Ransomware gang on Thursday (20/1).
