JAKARTA - SOE Minister Erick Thohir said there are three abilities that must be possessed by young people today.

He said the three skills were important considering that advances in technology forced today's young people to adapt more quickly.

"There are 3, the first is adaptation. Because sometimes the adaptation is the most difficult," said Erick Thohir during a live Instagram with Najwa Shihab and the Indonesia Digital Tribe account, Monday, January 17.

The second ability, Erick said that young children must understand technological changes that their company can take place very quickly. He hopes that young people will continue to understand technological changes.

"We only see changes in HP, from dots moving to dots, now there are dots. This is also in the changes, not only what we see, but behind that there are innovation and technology factors," said Erick.

"This is what I'm really worried about if up to 17.5 million easy children who will be needed in 2034, our young generation is not technology literate," he said.

On the other hand, Erick Thohir emphasized that there is no reason for young people not to understand technological changes because in the current era information can come from anywhere.
