JAKARTA - The state-owned construction and investment company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk, posted a new contract of Rp.10.05 trillion by the end of July 2020. PTPP has succeeded in acquiring new contracts amounting to 40 percent of the total target set by the company management, which is Rp25. 53 trillion at the end of 2020.

"Management is optimistic that this year's new contract target will be achieved," PTPP President Director Novel Arsyad said in a written statement, Friday, August 28.

The achievement of new contracts amounting to Rp.10.05 trillion consists of new contracts of the Parent Company amounting to 87 percent and Subsidiaries amounting to 13 percent.

Some of the projects that have been achieved by PTPP up to July 2020 include RDMP JO of IDR 1.80 trillion, Pekanbaru SPAM of IDR 1.26 trillion, Bogor Apartments of IDR 1.17 trillion, Mandalika Circuit of IDR 817 billion, Sport Center Banten IDR 794 billion, SGAR Alumina IDR 660 billion, Regular RDMP IDR 576 billion, Kendari-Toronipa Road IDR 412 billion, and so on.

As of July 2020, new contracts from SOEs dominated the acquisition of new PTPP contracts with a contribution of 45 percent. Followed by the Government at 31 percent, and the private sector at 24 percent of the total acquisition of new contracts.
