SURABAYA - Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi told the story of the party school held by the PDI-P, which he participated in when he was nominated as a candidate for mayor of Surabaya in 2020.

"From the start, we were given the mandate to try to advance as a candidate for mayor, we got serious discussions. We attended a regional head candidate school held by the PDI-P, with in-depth material on national ideology, public policy innovation practices, anti-intolerance, and so on," said Eri Cahyadi. , Monday, January 10.

From the party school, Eri Cahyadi admitted that he was inspired to run various populist programs in the city of Surabaya. These include free health education, scholarships, free uniforms for students, free food distribution for the poor, work towards zero stunting, and the development of green open spaces.

"Then smart city-based services, development of city infrastructure, support for arts and culture, and so on cannot be separated from the principles of popular work instilled by the PDI-P," he said.

He also wrote a happy birthday to the party led by Megawati Soekarnoputri. "Happy birthday, 49th PDI-P! Build your soul and body for Greater Indonesia!," wrote Eri Cahyadi.
