Jokowi's Men Praise Ganjar Pranowo And Gibran's Collaboration, He Says Other Regional Developments Should Be Emulated

SURAKARTA - The Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi praised the collaboration between the center and the Central Java Provincial Government and the Solo City Government in the completion of several projects in Central Java. According to Budi, this good cooperation has a positive impact in accelerating national development and will serve as an example in various regions in Indonesia.

This was conveyed by Budi during the groundbreaking of the double-track construction of the Solo Balapan-Kalioso railway and traffic engineering at the Joglo Solo intersection, Saturday, January 8. Budi appreciated the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, and the Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka who were also present at the event.

"The construction of double lanes and traffic engineering at the Joglo intersection, in addition to solving the congestion problem, also shows how the spirit of collaboration between the central government, the Central Java Provincial Government, and the Solo City Government is. Thank you, Mr. Ganjar, Mr. Gibran, who with the spirit of cooperation supports our programs", said Budi.

Budi explained that one of the concrete pieces of evidence is the issue of land acquisition which is the authority of the Central Java Provincial Government and the Solo City Government. In other areas, he continued, usually, he has to go down and directly solve problems that occur in the field.

"But not here, a good collaboration was carried out so that the acquisition of my land didn't need to be fussy (follow-in). Soon it was finished. Elsewhere, I had to invite the Regional Police/Commander of Regional Military Command to help resolve this. Of course, we will make this happen. an example of how good work is between the center and the regions", he said.

In his remarks, Ganjar said that he had always made strong teamwork a mainstay in various development programs. He gave an example, several national development programs in Central Java can be implemented well because the existing cooperation is already good.

"Tseveralnumber of airport constructions completed, Achmad Yani, Ngloram and in Purbalingga. Only Karimunjawa is still being worked on. All of this can be done well because of good cooperation between the center, provinces, and districts/cities", said Ganjar.

With this cooperation, the public will increasingly believe that the government can work well. The public will be happy because if everything is done with cooperation, it will be easy to complete.

"Including Solo, we want to organize Solo to become a smart, small but fun city. Hopefully, with this development, the economy can run. We show the community that this collective work can solve problems one by one", he concluded.

Meanwhile, Gibran said that Solo is a city that is a favorite for tourists. The problem of congestion is a problem that must be solved.

"Especially at Simpang Joglo, the center of congestion is in Solo, right here. Today it has begun to be built, there is a flyover so that congestion can be broken down. In addition, this development is expected to stimulate economic activity and become a new icon for the City of Solo", explained Gibran.

Joglo intersection is one of the crossroads in Solo which is often hit by traffic jams. On that road, seven segments meet at one point, plus there is a railroad crossing.

The government then built an overpass for the train so it doesn't make the path choke. In addition, traffic engineering is also carried out by making underpasses and other arrangements.
