JAKARTA - Criminal investigators from the Cengkareng Police have named four people as suspects under different articles related to the death of a teenager with the initials RC (15) with a knife wound stuck in the head in Taman Kencana, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

The Cengkareng Criminal Investigation Unit Head, Iptu Bintang, said that the initials AS (18) and A (15) were charged with Article 351 related to mistreatment of the victim, while the other two suspects had the initials AD (16) and AR (15) under the suspicion of the Emergency Law regarding sharp weapons.

The four suspects were involved in a brawl case accompanied by abuse that resulted in the death of the victim RC.

The incident began when the victim's witness passed by on a motorbike and ran into other school children. Then the witnesses were shouted at and fled.

"There was a group of children who were about to brawl throwing sharp weapons at the victim's head. Then the witness took the victim to Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta," said Cengkareng Criminal Investigation Unit Head Iptu Bintang, Friday, January 7, evening.

The police also arrested 21 people from the two warring camps.

"Three people from the victim's side and 18 people from the other two camps," he said.

The police also secured a number of evidences from the suspect, namely two sharp weapons.

"Perpetrators of persecution that result in death are subject to Article 351 (3) in conjunction with 55 of the Criminal Code," he said.
